    Why do you "need" to be able to do this? To me that still defeats the purpose of running your own league. I know what you are saying I just don't see the "must have" value in this, for me.
    If you make one deal on your own but then in real life that player you traded for end ups being traded to a different team then what?
    In any case everyone plays different and to each his/her own. Just have fun..

        I don't make trades that don't happen in real life, that's unrealistic to me. I don't like playing that way.

                I agree with Skyboxer. Teams make trades based on their needs at the time (usually). So who's to say that the White Sox in real life have the same needs as the White Sox in the franchise? Maybe they're 15-35 in real life and 29-21 in the franchise.

                Or maybe I should reload my franchise everytime a team loses a game it won in real life...that way it's even more true to life...

                  I agree with Skyboxer. Teams make trades based on their needs at the time (usually). So who's to say that the White Sox in real life have the same needs as the White Sox in the franchise? Maybe they're 15-35 in real life and 29-21 in the franchise.

                  Or maybe I should reload my franchise everytime a team loses a game it won in real life...that way it's even more true to life...

                        the updates are no big deal to me cause i play the reds whole 162 game season. i wont be able to download them once i start my season anyway.
                        ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.

                            I have to agree with wheels. I like to keep my rosters dead-on accurate. That's how I like it. I could care less about running my own season, I enjoy feeling as though the video game is a parallel reality in which I am a part of.
