Too bad he'll probably be best remembered for having a nail file in his pocket... he was a damn good pitcher. Just 61, too, that's a shame.

I heard he had a brain aneurysym. Those things are scary. They can hit anyone at anytime. A guy in my high school had one and died in his sleep one night.

R.I.P. I kinda thought Lance was the son to one of the Niekro's now I know for sure. I just wish I knew under better circumstances.

Was it Joe that coached that all-women pro baseball team or Phil?
