    Willy Tavares is the Rockies starting CF. Freeman is now with the Dodgers and Sullivan has drawn interest from a few teams and may be traded.

                  Steve Finley would probably hit the same as Terrmel Sledge had we gotten him. He still can play, but he's beyond those years in Arizona where he made the Padres pay year in and year out.

                  In the end, Finley is not a clean up hitter, something the Padres still need and wouldn't have solved at all.

                              The job is his to lose. He had a solid first outing pitching 3 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits. If this keeps up and with the way Lance Cormeir is pitching Kyle Davies may be the odd man out in the Braves rotation.
