Would have been a different story if he stayed at his original position. Don't see him up there in stolen bases, either.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60 -

New York Yankees first baseman Don Mattingly (1987), Baltimore Orioles shortstop Cal Ripken Jr. (1991), Chicago White Sox first baseman Frank Thomas (1995), Houston first baseman Jeff Bagwell (1995) and Boston designated hitter Manny Ramirez (2002).
How many stolen bases do you think they accounted for? And because Pujols changed over to first base, that makes it somehow less impressive? There are 3 other first basemen on the list and 1 DH.
What was your point again?NCAA: Michigan Wolverines
MLB: St. Louis Cardinals
NHL: St. Louis Blues

Re: Pujols becomes sixth to get perfect score in player rankings
I also don't think stolen bases matter much in this ranking. They seem to concentrate mostly on hitting (not fielding, baserunning etc...). I could be wrong though.
In any case, everyone has their own rankings, but Pujols should rank very high in all of them.Last edited by mjb2124; 11-01-2006, 10:45 PM.Comment
