Some people make these posts about how they won't buy a game if there aren't be roster updates. I mean, yes it would be nice if there were nice cool roster updates, but since when has this become a staple in console sports games? I mean I can understand PC games, there are all kinds of updates with the PC games, but I think it's ridiculous to expect this with the console games. If you just do them yourselves or wait for a edit freak like myself to do them, you will get updated rosters, and trust, more likely than not, your own updates or one you might get from a good OSer, like WallyHopp, blacklover, etc. or someone else will be better than the update the game provides. I think NBA 2K3 proved that.

Why is behind the pitcher view a big deal? Why are in-game saves a big deal? Why is franchise mode a big deal?

for baseball especially it is a big deal, considering its the longest season of any sport and it also has the most moves, whether it be trades or call ups from the minors.
by no means is it a game killer, and frankly, it doesnt matter for me unless its released on an oxm disc since i dont have xblComment

What I don't understand is if you are going to have a franchise and do all the player dealings yourself...why do all that and then have updated true to life rosters...Doesn't that defeat the purpose of running your own team?Joshua:

BG i didnt mean i would sit down and try to edit everyone in entire league but I would try to get the key trades or what not but its one thing with every game. you play it for a while and then find something else to play. Then when you come back all these transactions (especially in baseball) have been made so i just try to stay up to date as close as possible is all I was trying to state.. but sky did bring up a valid point if you are playing a franchise why go thru with all that.. All in all updated rosters would be sweet but we all can still enjoy the game when it comes out
