    McFarlane MLB Series 17

Looks like these are exclusive to Toys R Us, in stores in February.
Look for these figures in Toys 'R' Us stores as part of their "Opening Day" promotion next February. In addition to the six-player MLB 17 lineup, Toys 'R' Us will also exclusively offer a New York Yankees 3-pack (Jason Giambi, Derek Jeter & Bobby Abreu) and a Chicago Cubs 3-pack (Derrek Lee, Greg Maddux & Carlos Zambrano).
Josh Beckett (5 bucks that pitch is another home run)

I'll probably pick up the Beckett strictly because he plays for Boston.

Billy Wagner looks horrible, it looks nothing like him, he looks Asain.

Asian? Hmmm.... I was thinking more along the lines of Ty Cobb

Definetly doesnt look like Wagner though.

My first impression was of Robert Patrick from Terminator 2.

No wonder Thome strikes out so much.

Look at that dip on that swing.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

I'm a huge collector of these and can't wait for my Beckett one, even though he blows.

Papelbon is also coming very soon.

And by the way, the MLB ones are easily the most sturdy of all the ones I collect. I get NBA, NFL, and MLB, and the first two really take some effort, and sometimes some glue or something like that, to stay in their spots. My Dirk Nowitski is contantly hanging by a thread, as is Walter Payton and Eddie George.

That Chavez one looks like it could be tough to keep up as well.
