At least he made the wise choice to stay in the NL. He'll probably be what he always has been. 12 wins close to 5 ERA. He is the typical "I cashed in on one good month" pitcher.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Cards will still win the division cuz we will be healthy and YOUNGER.
Too bad Jeff Weaver apparently thinks he's gonna get big money going elsewhere too. He should realize that Dave help salvage his career more than any other ... even tho we are lowballing him with whatever offer we offered him (we do that to every pitcher).
We'll be fine with Carp, Wells, Reyes, Wainright/Looper/Thompson and Weaver
