    Daryl Ward Now a Dodger

He was traded for a minor league pitching prospect.

I've always wondered why this guy doesn't get more AB's?

I know he gets hurt which prevents some AB's but hell couple years ago he hit 20 HR's with less than 300 AB's. Last year .272 12 HR's in limited time.

This guy should get more chances.
NCAA Vets League: Arkansas Razorbacks (9-2, 6-1)
MLB OS League: Seattle Mariners (9-2)

he was a major dissapointment last year. He had 453 ab last year, alot of people people were expecting him to break out. Maybe this will be his year.

Keep him out of McDonalds and Burger King and he should do fine. If he has too many double cheeseburgers he could very well be on the way to eating himself out of the major leagues.

I think it was a good move for both teams. Ward will finally get a chance to break into a starting line-up. Besides the 'Tros needed to make room for Jeff Kent.
How about Biggio moving to the out field. This guy is the definition of a utility player. He was a catcher before he moved to second base.
I know the Super bowl is today, but I'm really starting to excited for baseball.

nigel, those are the greatest stros jerseys..

itl be nice to have a real contender again pushing the cardinals this year.. instead of the panzy reds like last year.

If the Reds get any pitching and the Cubs live up to potential, (arent we saying this every year?) the NL Central could be a pretty competitive Division this year.
