But no one would believe that because the media has everyone running scared. I'm not saying everyone is safe to use juice, but if you're a healthy male over age 25, there is little risk if you know what you're doing. There's a right and a wrong way of doing them and the wrong is of course what makes the news. Hormone replacement therapy has been around for 25 years, and I personally know at least 5 people that have juiced for 40+ years and are in their 70s and completely healthy. In fact, they're HEALTHIER than they should be.

Are you insane? Or just selling the stuff?

Those guys used an cheated to give themselves a competitve advantage. it destroyed the game of baseball as its been played for 100 years. Baseball is just as guilty for turning a blind eye.

Even if you dont care that theyre cheaters, their at the very least, criminals. Yeah, it was never "proven", but the circumstancial evidence is beyond overwhelming.

If anything, this heap of shame that is piled on the guilty is going to discourage more players, people, and kids from trying an illegal and despite what you believe, dangerous drug.

As for the state of the game, Baseball is better when Home Runs actually mean something. Its like Dunks in basketball - when everyone is dunking all the time, who cares.

Baseball should have cracked down years ago, but they didnt. Now they are, and Baseball, players, fans, and society is better off for it.

Even late, its better to do the right thing than nothing at all.

Kids should NOT be doing steroids, never once did I say that. I did state, and stand by the fact that they are not nearly as dangerous as the media claims them to be. And whether or not you believe, science is actually on MY side.

And baseball, well, my point is just the hypocrisy of this whole thing. Innocent until proven guilty I guess is a lie in this country. End up Canseco's book and you're automatically guilty I guess. He's the NEW judge. I guess we throw that WHOLE era out then right? Again, how are you going to point out the steroid users and those who let into the Hall of Fame? How do you decide? Are we going to call Canseco so he can tell us? Everybody that hit 50+ HRs? Everybody that's big? Where does it end? Or is it just McGwire, Sosa, Bonds, Sheff, Pameiro, and Giambi? Josh Howard is a big dude, he must be on the juice too right? Oh wait, they test now it's not in the league anymore right? There's no way to get around things.... whew... good!

There have always been cheaters in baseball, some, shoot, plenty in the Hall of Fame I'd wager. I'm a big baseball in reality and used to completely chastise any of these players I thought were taking roids. They're cheating the records, the history of the game, and the integrity of the game. Unfortunately, what about every player in the 60s and 70s that was on amphetamines? What about using pain killers illegally? The point is we are just blatantly comdemning players we don't know for sure were cheating by using steroids. We may have a good guess, but we don't know, do we?

"Innocent until proven guilty" refers to criminal law, not to whether someone gets in the Baseball Hall of Fame or not. OJ lost the civil case, remember?

You got me there. My point is that just judging people without clear proof is a bad way to make a decision. Is every big dude on the juice? Clearly that's the only way you can get big nowadays. Hard work and eating right is completely out of the question. What if we found out the Griffey, a relatively SKINNY guy, had been using the juice too? What kind of tailspin would that throw our baseball world in?

The chances that the pitchers that the steroid enhanced hitters were facing were also on steroids (at least some of them) is basically 100%

Also, as the names of some of the players who have failed tests, taking steroids doesn't turn you into a great player.
