Pirates join the competition for ugliest alternate uniform

That automatically joins the yellow Kent St. football jerseys and the black/gold Wizards jerseys on my list of horrible jerseys. Hopefully they don't wear those when I go to any of the games this year.

They aren't that bad. Personally I'm not a fan of the red, but they don't rank up there with the worst IMO.

That's the new style of batting practice hats

They aren't that bad. Personally I'm not a fan of the red, but they don't rank up there with the worst IMO.

It's definitely not my favorite. I'm also not sure where they got the red from, but oh well... Black and gold are the city colors so that's why all teams use them. Red?? No idea...I think one of the really old Pirate teams used some red in the uniform though.

Karlos has a point though.....if it distracts from the product on the field, then the Pirates are all for it! LOL.

Well, from what I saw last year, they're gonna have to throw skirts on the players for that much distraction

I'm hoping they'll be better this year with the addition of LaRoche and more experience from the starting pitching staff. I really like the group of Duke, Maholm, Snell and Gorzelanny and think they're one of the better young staffs in the league. However, I still think there is too little offense to get to .500. I think 75-78 wins is possible though.

Maybe something is wrong with my eyes after reading everyone else's comments but i think they look pretty good. yep, Still look good to me.
