I really wish they could get some top-notch announcers.There must be a good reason besides money for the fact that some real legendary broadcasters have yet to be immortalized in a video game. The recording process must be so annoying and time consuming. Imagine having to sit there and say the same thing 25 differnt ways on top of saying every player's name in the league. It's gotta be alotta work but as the graphics improve more and more each year, the sound should not be left in the dust.Comment

McCarver sucks. The man may know baseball, but when he talks he comes off like a blithering idiot.
Ted Robinson is bad as well, and his brand of play by play makes me want to take a nap in the middle of playing ("and a ball......there's a strike.......hit up the middle for a base hit...."...zzzzzz)
I really don't like Mike Krukow on the air, as he sounds like a dumb hillbilly. He is a complete homer. However, for whatever reason it actually translates to video games pretty good. I liked him in WSB last year.
I would love to have Miller and Morgan do the announcing in a game. They work really good together.
At least there is no game that has Skip Caray. I seriously wouldn't be able to handle more than 5 minutes of his nauseating voice.Comment

If Harry Kalas (Phils play by play man and new HOF inductee) ever showed up in a game I would buy it just for that. When I hear Harry's voice I think of summer. I can't wait for spring training. We've had 3 straight weeks here in the NE of it not getting over freezing. To hell with winter.Comment
