Jeff Weaver named 5th starter for the Yanks
As it should be Jeff Weaver was giving the 5th spot in the starting staff, and the rookie they signed will be the set up man. I read this on Fanball.com, Jeff Weaver should be the 5th start he will be prolly the best pitcher they have, everyone forgot he won 15 games for the tigers, but last year game to the yanks and kinda sucked.Tags: None -

Weaver can end up being a very good pitcher. Last year he was doing good, but adjusting to New York, and not getting to pitch every 4 days seemed to slow him down. Hopefully he has a big year this year, but I'm surprised they named him 5th starter before pitchers and catchers even reportOriginally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

They had to give him that confidence boost. He's a very good pitcher who is young who got screwed out of a spot last year because they had too many starters. In 2 years, he'll be their best pitcher (unless George brings some new stud aboard). His confidence would be shot if they started him out of the pen again. This really isn't news.Comment
