    PC versions

All this talk about the console versions of ASB 2004, and MVP. What about the PC version of these games? (btw anyone know if WSB 2K3 is coming out for the PC?)

Anyone else excited about this prospect? I mean imagine the possiblities? Custom roster udpates, custom schedules, editors, uniform updates, stadium updates etc.

This might be the platform to get. Anyone else agree?

well if you want the game then I hope they make it for your sake. I just don't get into sports games on the PC. When I play a PC game I like to stick to something like AOM, Warcraft or Sim City.

Don't get me wrong, I see the added benefit from being on the PC(resolution and such)... its just the console versions always still seem to be better.

        Re: PC versions

I'm going to have to disagree. The PC version of High Heat 2003 was much better than it's console counterpart.

Btw, this is not for my sake, the baseball games (mentioned above.) are coming out for the PC.

            Re: PC versions

I have never even played a BB game on the PC. I have played Madden and Live on the PC and they both sucked.

So I prob should not say all sports games are better on consoles - just the ones i have played.

... the main thing for me is well.. I like things big(aka a big tv) as compared to a 17 or 19 inch monitor.

Are you sure? Some have said both of these games look much better on a PC, and play a better game. Example, Nba Live having the ability to customize gameplay to your liking using the toolkit.

of course they are going to look better... the resolution on a computer is just so much better than a tv.

but once you get to the high resolutions then your frame rates drop to the floor and the game become choppy. to each is own.. not bashing them.. just saying they are not for me.

You like things BIG huh BDunn.

                        jk

I cant get over the choppieness of my CPU. I really not up to date with the highest technology even though I spent a fortune upgrading.
Sports games suck *** on my CPU. I was strictly a CPU game buyer until I got NBA Live and NBA 2k3 for my PS2. Now I enjoy thier games more b/c the loading is'nt as bad. And its more convienent to play console games then PC. You gotta configure your controller, installation eats my hard drive, swich my graphics card around, etc, etc. Its to much of a hassle. I tell you Iwas defetnitly pissedwhen I got Madden and it was choppy. I think I cried. With the console I dont gotta worry about a damn thing except turning my power botton on.

But I would like to play the PC version though, roster updates, stadiums and unis are great. Only if I had a top of the line CPU. But since I tired of spending wads of money upgrading, forget it.

When you say the games suck are you referring to the gameplay or the frame rate issue?
