The Sox sold the rights to US Cellular for 68 million. I'm glad because now they can't complain about money trouble. It'll be weird hearing US Cellular Field.

I heard they were changing it but didn't know what they were changing it to. US Cellular Field doesn't sound that good to me. It may just take some time to get used to. -

US Celluar Field...now that's a crappy name. It looked as if my Sox were on the up and up, and now we've got one of the worst named stadiums/fields in all of sports.
The 23 yr deal, worth 68 million dollars, is a "unique partnership that will provide the resources for major design changes to the ballpark that will benefit every White Sox fan."
Now what in the world does THAT mean? Hopefully they modify that upper-deck...it's more like a ski slope it's so steep!Comment

Don't worry I predict US Cellular will be out of business by the end of the year, being bought out by Verizon or somethign like that. They just moved into Chicago if they think renaming Comiskey Park is going to help they may have made a serious mistake.Comment
