whats the difference between this and people getting shot everyday?

he has a point.. their is no doubt that this is a tragic event.. but to say games seem so trivial now... if it hits you that hard then games should always be trivial because people die everyday. an astronauts life is not greater then a homeless man that gets killed on the street for whatever reason.

dont just say a prayer for the families of these astronauts.. shouldnt we say a prayer for every family of every person that dies?

i would have to say the generic cliche "entertainment is so pointless now..." comments that everyone makes gets on my nerves a bit.. yes of course this is all tragic.. its horrible.. etc.. but it makes it seem like people's lives are > then others. if games do seem so trivial.. then why are you posting on a video game message board? if it hurts you that much then sell your video games and donate the money toward figuring out a way to never let it happen again. i dont know if thats cold.. or what..
