From what I've heard, Inside Pitch has a lot of negatives so far. ASB, High Heat, and WSB all will be better.

what have you heard?!?!?! theres been practically no info on it.....so how can you say anything? if you have heard info, please let us know because im sure wed all like to know

youre probably right that asb wsb and hh will be better just because of the fact that its a first effort by microsoft and its not even for sure that it will be made. but jeez, at least see the fact sheet and see some screenshots before you say anyting

I just read somewhere Microsoft was making inside pitch but other than that nothing. It makes you think though. If it was going to be any good at least they would have more info and screens on it.

BTW has anybody tried checking Xbox.com?

Actually the article critiques every baseball game minus Slugfest and MLB 2004. I'll post the goods and bads of every game:

Inside Pitch: (already did)

MVP Baseball:
Good: better than triple play, fluid gameplay.
Bad: ps2ish, overall polish is a ways off.

All Star Baseball:
Good: Good ballparks, unique batter interface, downloadables
Bad: batter interface needs work and might be the best feature.

World Series Baseball 2k3:
Good: Best looking game, stunning stadiums, smoothest game. Has everything every other game has but does it better.
Bad: Last years game was repetitive.. (and how does that have anything to do with this year's version...?), no online play.

High Heat Baseball 2004:
Good: Second best to WSB2k3
Bad: Least flashy graphics

Basically this article is too short and doesn't really compare and contrast any of the game's new features.

I know someone that has been around the game. I can't say anything more than that but from what they say, the game doesn't sound like it will be able to compete this year.
