    Los Angeles Angels
    CF Gary Matthews Jr.
    SS Orlando Cabrera
    RF Vladimir Guerrero
    LF Garrett Anderson
    DH Shea Hillenbrand
    1B Casey Kotchman
    2B Howie Kendrick
    C Mike Napoli
    3B Chone Figgans

    Bench
    C Jose Molina
    IF Maicer Izturis
    IF Robb Quinlan
    OF Reggie Willits
    OF Tommy Murphy

    Starting rotation
    Johm Lackey
    Kelvim Escobar
    Jered Weaver
    Ervin Santana
    Joe Saunders

    Bullpen
    CP Francisco Rodriguez
    Scot Shields
    Justin Speier
    Hector Carrasco
    Darren Oliver
    Chris Resop
As of right now Anderson will not be batting 4th...he is batting 5th also...I believe Phil Siebel may get a shot for the last spot over Chris Resop and Chris Bootcheck is in the mix for the final BP Slot..as for the rotation..I am thinking drop Weaver where Santana is and bring up Santana...so Santana is 3rd and Weaver is 4th. The Reserves are about right.

    San Diego Padres
    2B Marcus Giles
    LF Termmel Sledge
    RF Brian Giles
    1B Adrian Gonzalez
    CF Mike Cameron
    SS Khalil Greene
    3B Kevin Kouzmanoff
    C Josh Bard

    Bench
    C Rob Bowen
    IF Geoff Blum
    IF Todd Walker
    IF/OF Russell Branyan
    OF Jose Cruz Jr.

    Starting rotation
    Jake Peavy
    Chris Young
    Greg Maddux
    Clay Hensley
    David Wells

    Bullpen
    CP Trevor Hoffman
    Scott Linebrink
    Doug Brocail
    Cla Meredith
    Royce Ring
    Mike Thompson
    Heath Bell
Termell Sledge is slotted to be the leadoff guy, the only way that changes is if he loses his spot in ST which could happen because of PMac and I believe they may drop Adrian down to the 5th spot just because he is young and isn't comfortable hitting at the 4th spot. Greene will not bat before Kouzmanoff, Kooz will bat before Greene....Greene will bat 7th and Bard 8th...Pitching Rotation is on par.

I don't think Walker will make the cut...insert PMac...The only reason Walker is still on the team is because of Arbitration is having a field day with the padres.

      Josh Sharpless
      Jonah Bayliss
Pretty good, but a few changes.

Starting rotation will have Tom Gorzelanny in it. Chacon will be the odd man out and will most likely be the long reliever. That knocks someone out of the bullpen and will be either Sharpless or Bayliss. My guess is Bayliss.

So it would look like this:

      1. Zack Duke
      2. Ian Snell
      3. Paul Maholm
      4. Tony Armas
      5. Tom Gorzelanny

      CP Salomon Torres
      SU Damaso Marte
      SU Matt Capps
      MRP/LOOGY John Grabow
      MRP Dan Kolb
      MRP Josh Sharpless
      LRP Shawn Chacon

I wonder why Bonds now always bats 4th all of the sudden. The Giants always seemed to do better with him batting 3rd, not to mention the amount of times he leads off an inning is UGH!

Pretty accurate. The batting order isn't 100% sure yet I believe but that is pretty accurate. Just an issue of whether or not they want to throw Peralta in the 3 spot. And for the rotation, Jeremy Sowers is gonna be the #4 starter likely, with Byrd being the #5

Of course, we've only played a couple of spring training games, so no one knows for sure how it'll come together.
Narvy has a snow ball's chance of making the roster as a starter. Looper, Franklin, or Thompson for that 5th spot. With Izzy's struggles early on here, they may have someone else in that closer spot to begin the year.

Agree, but I have a feeling Wainwright is a last option. They want to have him start and not bounce back and forth.

I would make a couple of changes. First of all the Braves aren't going to carry 3 utility infielders on the bench. They will carry 2 and Pete Orr is likely the odd man out. They will also carry 2 outfielders on the bench so don't forget about Matt Diaz.

As far as the bullpen goes Lance Cormier will either start the season as Atlanta's 5th starter in the rotation or start the season in Richmond. There is NO WAY he will be in the bullpen since Villarreal is the long relief man. Expect Tyler Yates and Chad Paronto to be in the bullpen when the season starts. Yates if one of Bobby Cox favorites and Paronto is a double play specialist with the heavy sinker he possess. However one of the guys will have to go when Tanyan Sturtze comes back in May.

Re: Projected lineups and rotations for 2007

                        Some updates:

As dansaint posted Josh Kinney out for the year, so scratch him from the Cardinals pitching plans.

Mike Hampton likely out until may with either a strained oblique or a rib injury (Braves doctors haven't decided yet) so Lance Cormeir should be in the Braves starting rotation for at least the first month of the season.

Esteban German will start at 2B for the Royals while Mark Grudzielanek recovers from knee surgery. The Royals will likely carry an extra pitcher, good news if you are Ken Ray.

Mark Kotsay is likely out for at least the first 3 months of the season. Milton Bradley is moving from RF to CF, Nick Swisher from 1B to RF and Dan Johnson should be the A's 1B for a while at least. If Bobby Kielty opens the year on the DL the A's will choose between Ricky Ledee, Charles Thomas, Hiram Bocachica and rule 5 draft pick Ryan Goleski to be the backup Outfeilder.
