I always get nervous when I hear these stories. Anyone think he can keep this up for 5, 10 years?

the giants got him with the 10th pick in 2006 june draft, teams were shying away from him because of his size, i say look at roy oswalt he seems to be an ok pitcher , apparently lincecum has been clocked as high as 102, yes sir scott i can just see the back to back dose of lincecum and cain with a dash of zito thrown in there ,lol, sounds good to me, wait a minute whats that noise i hear hmm, i think its the dodgers knees knocking

That might happen this year! We don't have a closer we have a batting practice pitcher!

This kid's arm is probably going to fall off. Hell, even if his arm doesn't fall off, the very slightest injury in any part of his body will damage his velocity, because he utilizes every single muscle and bone in his body. It pains me to even watch that delivery, though I imagine it is nearly impossible to hit his pitches.

Also how do you pronounce his name without making him sound like a porno dude?

ugh, that delivery would have killed me when I used to pitch... I swear it looks like his arm is going to fall off with every throw.

Jk, This guy looks like a stud, he can really come through and get it done, though he doesn't look like he can last long.

Is he the guy from Washington?

If he is, I wanted the Cubs to take him last year. His chances of suffering a major injury probably would have gone up about 60%, but I like the way he pitches. I'm happy with Colvin, though.

Ahh, Colvin, How is he doing for yall so far?

I really do not see Lincecum as a starter. Look at his delivery that has closer written all over it. Do you guys ever see a guy and just think that is a closer? Or is it just me? Ex: John Rocker

it would sure make a lot of sense seeing as everyone thinks he could get injured also the giants aren't exactly deep at closer except for benitez

Lincecum is actually my closer in my MLB 2K7 dynasty... kid is nasty in the game.

                              Rotoworld:

While they didn't commit to it, the Giants are likely to bring up 2006 first-round pick Tim Lincecum to make his major league debut Sunday.
He'd replace the injured Russ Ortiz. "We're still talking about it but we're expecting him to make that start," manager Bruce Bochy said. "This is a tough kid who handled himself well in spring training. He'll be fine if it turns out to be him." Linecum is 4-0 with an 0.29 ERA at Fresno. He should be owned in all formats, and it'd worth using him in fantasy leagues right away.
I just picked him up in my Yahoo league, after DL'ing Phil Hughes. (If I were Boston Dirt Dogs.com, I would then create a headline: DL Hughes. *crickets*)

I'm expecting big things from Lincecum, so hopefully he pwns in his first few starts.
