So what seems to be the current leader?

I used to buy Triple Play until this past season, TP became homerun derby, I had Omar Vizquel with 32 homers at the AS break, come on!

I switched to High Heat this last season and I enjoyed the realism, and the difficulty is possessed in trying to lead in ANY category, be it homeruns, K's, ANYTHING.. HOWEVER, I could bat like .400+ with 3-4 different players at the same time, which seemed highly unlikely, and triples weren't impossible to hit, which was a PLUS in my book. The graphics weren't great, but I really didn't care much. And the most frustrating part of HH was when I'd have constantly have a 2-run lead, bring in my closer and they'd go into "hitting machine mode" and come back and win like 4 times out of 5 on me, and I KNOW some of those hits was just me calling the wrong pitch, so I won't foot all the blame on a "cheating AI", so don't think I'm pointing the finger only on that.

As for Slugfest, don't want it... And ASB, I've heard good and bad things about it, still torn, anyone can tell me anything on it? I'd appreciate any input on any avid players of this game...

And I've gone Sega across the board this year, 2K3's in all sports, basketball, football, and hockey, should World Series be as competitive as the other sports games were with their competitors? Again, any information would be greatly appreciated..

(Sorry guys, I visit rarely these days, and prolly could get all the info I needed if I had time to pan down 2-3-4 pages and check a ton of threads, but I figured I'd consolidate all the info to this thread if I could...LOL)

Oh, and release dates on all these games would be appreciated as well...

WSB could be very strong if Sega fixes one major problem -- the strike zone was HUGE last year, so you never could take many pitches. Too many whiffs because everything even 3 inches from the corners was called a strike.

            Take care,

Thanks guys... more input would be great...

Yeah, I went with Sega across the board this year, so obviously WSB is going to get a good, hard glance this year, as will my last year's pick of HH.

I agree I think WSB2k3 will be the best followed by ASB, HH and MVP. Bump Mappping on the graphics and improved gameplay. Count me in. I just hope they find a way to give us updated rosters.

I haven't decided which one to get yet.
I got High Heat last year, and liked it.
I was leaning towards High Heat, but the
more I learn about WSB and MVP, the more
I like them. I'm especially intrigued by
MVP, but I fear that it may be all style
and no substance. WSB seems very deep, and
is obviously the best looking game. My
leaderboard at the moment looks like this:

                            1. WSB
                            2. High Heat
                            3. MVP
                            4. ASB
