(Pie) Is this for real, or is Yahoo messed up?

    Check this line....

    PLAYER AVG G AB R H TB 2B 3B HR RBI

    F Pie .889 14 36 15 32 33 1 0 0 5

    Wow...what a spring....(but 31 singles and a double is kinda weird)
I know this could be in the Cubs thread, but i think it deserves
to be put here, unless i am missing something. Even if these
are some low-level squad games, still....

Buck Coats and Jake Fox are having great springs, as is murton...
We have a close named Rocky Cherry....are you kidding?

Yahoo is messed up. Pie's hitting .333 according to MLB.com.

The official website of the Chicago Cubs with the most up-to-date information on news, tickets, schedule, stadium, roster, rumors, scores, and stats.

Gotta throw out a Pirate name - starting catcher Ronny Paulino is hitting a cool .500 this spring (34 AB's). Of course in typical Pirate fashion, he'll probably struggle the minute the regular season starts.

I thought Paulino hit pretty well last year, mjb. Maybe he just continuing things? Now if you're referring to a great spring meaning absolutely nothing once the regular season starts, then yeah, the Reds do the same thing.
      MLB: Cincinnati Reds
      NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
      NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
      NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
      NHL: Calgary Flames

He did (.310 BA). However, he never showed a lot of power last year....mainly just hit for average (6 HR in 442 AB). He's starting to show some power along with the average this spring. It's nice to see. I just hope he's saving some of that for the regular season.

He reminds me of Paul LoDuca who I always pick-up in fantasy for my catcher. For the one draft I've had already this year, I picked up both Paulino and LoDuca. The best thing about catchers like them is they fly under the radar. I picked them up in the 17th & 18th rounds (12 teams).

Josh Hamilton for the Reds is currently batting .476, he is like 20 or 42.
