That should keep the yankee fans off his back for at least a couple hours.

LOL, that's what my Papaw said when I told him what happened. He was like "Atleast he won't be boo'd...today"

Tomorrows headline will read...A-ROD for MVP, then after going 0-4 with 3 K's in the next game, it'll read Fans Want A-Rod Out.

Nobody wants Arod out. They just LOVE critiquing him.

I think Arod needs to stay. Not just because of the grand slam today. When he is on he's of the best players of the game. Unfortunately you're right. The press is too hard on the guy, but they're hard on everyone. When Jeter had the slow start two years ago, he was getting booed and ripped apart in the papers. That was freekin bull****. I was at the game today. When Arod hit the homerun and came out for the curtain call the stadium was going crazy. That wasn't like a cheap homerun either. He put it in the black. Igawa got booed in his first start, poor guy. Obviously I think Arod should be player of the day. Two HR's, 6 Rbi, 4 runs scored, and a game winning grand slam.

                            NCAA: Duke
                            MLB: New York Yankees
                            NFL: New York Jets

Lets not forget how Yankee fans freaked out on Rivera two years ago when he blew 2 saves vs. the Red Sox, and everybody was convinced he was done...
