Or get snowed out for 4 days after each of Felix's start.

Filthy performance by Felix. He didn't even have his best pitch today and was untouchable. He's definitely making his case for best pitcher in baseball.

Man, what a performance. I thought Felix pitched a great game in the opener against the A's but he topped it tonight. He's given up no runs and only four hits in 17 innings this year.

He looks like the the guy from 2005, but now they let him throw his best pitch...the slider.

        Sick.

        2007:

17 innings, zero runs. 4 hits. 18 strike outs. 4 fly balls! 29 ground balls.

Those are some Randy Johnson-like numbers from back in the day.

I think Icey-D could have done better.

Seems like a very nice game from Felix.

Glad I didn't get to watch it, I would've been frustrated.

What's crazy is that his slider, his 2-seam or his curveball are all devastating pitches and I wouldn't argue with anyone if they claimed any of the three were his best pitch.

IMO I love his 2-seam the most, but tough to argue against a low 90's hard slider.

Great game by Felix, wish I could have seen the whole thing. Darn work. Felix really had all of his pitches working for him, and good control to go with it.

Well considering no one else in the league can throw a 2-seam fastball at 95+ it's hard to argue against it. It's nearly impossible to get off the ground, as everyone has seen so far. He's finally got control of it, so he hasn't had to throw ANY 4-seam fastballs (those were why he got hit last year).

But, come on, you're forgetting about his change-up. That pitch is just as nasty as his 2-seam, slider, or curveball. The only medicore pitch Felix has is his 4-seam fastball.

                      He's pretty good.

Agree completely in adding the change to the list. And that mediocre 4-seam gets up to 100mph without overthrowing...way too straight though.

It looks like his next start is against Minnesota. Any idea who starts for the Twinkies on Tuesday?

If it's Santana (which would be the best matchup) then he'll be pitching on 4 days rest. The only other pitchers the Twins would have ready to pitch are Ortiz and Silva. Looks like another good matchup getting ready to brew.

Good game last night. Great game by King Felix, the only good thing about last nights game is that Felix is on my fantasy team.

I can't wait to see what type of year Felix can put together this year. I hope he can stay healthy because he's gonna be fun to watch as he matures.
