Padres Uniform Question

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that for every game this season, minus military opening night, that the Padres have worn their alternate navy blue tops. I was wondering if anyone knew if they was a reason for this.

Starting pitcher chooses the jerseys. I've seen them in their "sand" away jerseys and their white home jerseys this year.

Like many people around here, the players hate the sand colored jerseys, so they tend to wear the blues more on the road. At home, however, they do wear the whites a lot.

The sand coloured jerseys have grown on me. Too bad it seems the players don't have an open mind about them.
