Question on Gameplay

OK, we have all these baseball games, i am indifferent as to which is better/ worse till I actually play the games myself, hoever I have a question. In example ASB good game last year, not legendary, but good, when acclaim austin released this game do they know that people will strike out 10 times agaim and hit 5-10 hrs? or do these developers think honestly that their game plays like a game on TV. I understand that they are all about making money 100% but they have got to play the competition and I am having a hard time seeing asb developers playing high heat and saying our gameplay is way better than this.same as i cant see hh saying our graphics aree way better. I would like to see ASB take a year off after this year and come out with asb 2005 in 2005 and focus the next 2 years in halfs, spend half zoning in on the perfect gameplay with sliders, the second half making some minor stadium/uniform adjustments, and working on animations. this game i feel would be awsome. Id wait 2 years to have the perfect game come out. what do u guys think??
