    Steroids revisited

    Former Mets Employee Indicted

Cant believe no one has said anything about this yet. I have a feeling this will lead to same names. This guy is not willing to go to jail for his customers.

On MIke and the Mad Dog, Bob from Westchester came on and made some great points. First, the guy had been wearing a wire in his later years, so there will be some hard evidence. Secondly, he said one there was an indictment, the customers can be named by the grand jury as co-conspirators in the case.

    Hopefully this will be interesting.

You are right. Some players are going to be pwned pretty soon. Probably early next week if I had to guess. This will start getting more attention once some big name is identified. Right now people hear about some dude named Kirk who worked for the Mets and it doesn't interest anybody.

I bet there are some pretty nervous meat heads perspiring this evening. I read in the SI interview with their reporters that one of the players linked to BALCO was also found in this raid. Who is that gonna be? Sheffield? Giambi? Bonds?

It wouldn't matter if it was Bonds because it was already proven he took steroids. He said so himself, and the Game of Shadows proves it even further.

Steroids are the devil, sports suck. Come on guys, figure it out. Your favorite player most likely juiced. Become one with the fact that everyone had/has done it and athletes will continue to do whatever they can to gain an advantage. Cycling is a great example... just about every top cyclist is getting caught doping left and right.

The ridiculousness of the media exploit is incredulous. Guys, we live in the MOST STRICT steroid country IN THE WORLD, hands-down. Most other countries don't care, but because they give athletes an advantage that previous athletes didn't have, it becomes a HUUUUGE issue. Steroids have been around for DECADES and just now we're looking at exploiting those that use. They're pretty bad for you... look at the guys that used in the 70s/80s/90s that are dropping dead. They're not. We let thousands upon thousands of people die from alcohol and cigarettes, yet the HANDFUL of steroid cases (all of those are abuse) where they have caused issues are big news.

How about congress starts to look at things that MATTER like Iraq, or REAL drugs.
