Player Models:
1.) MVP Baseball
2.) All-Star Baseball
3.) WSB
The reason I choose MVP for the top spot is because the models it has are simply the best. They look completely individual to each player unlike ASB and WSB.
Stadium Models:
1.) All-Star Baseball
2.) MVP Baseball
3.) WSB
The stadium models in All-Star Baseball look amazingly accurate. MVP is a close second and has some really nice lighting. WSB just doesnt have the look down yet. The stadiums (although nice) do not look as real as the other two games.
Batting Stances:
1.) MVP Baseball
2.) WSB
3.) All-Star Baseball
I am amazed how accurate the batting stance have been in MVP. Nearly every player looked "exactly" how they do in real life. Both WSB and ASB do a "few" of guys pretty well but when compared to MVP they are off.
Batting Swing Animations:
1.) MVP Baseball
2.) WSB
3.) All-Star Baseball
This is an area where some people don't notice much. By swing animation i mean as the pitch is thrown to the batter, the movement that he makes to the ball and his swing makes up this animation. The batting animation in MVP is unique to each player, and in the case of star players they have their own unique follow-throughs. Both WSB and ASB are hurt by the fact that they both have animations that are seperate form the main batting stance. In both games as the pitch comes in the batters go into a generic swing animation, which shows the lack of detial in that department.
Fielding Animations:
1.) WSB
2.) All-Star Baseball
3.) MVP Baseball
The fielding animations in WSB are the best of the bunch. ASB is hurt by its "squating" animation and MVP looks unpolished in the field. The sidearm throws don't help either.
Pitching Animations:
To early to tell, each game is looking good so far in this department.
So thats my view on a few of the upcomming games. All of my conclusions have come from the movies and screens around the net. Thanks.
