The Kansas City media isn't known enough to be good sarcasm fodder. When you're on the internet and nobody knows anything about a commodity, most people will take you on face value.

If the KC media was really tough as nails don't you think you would have heard about it? Since you have not then the sarcasm was well done even though you missed it.
