    Anyway, on the actual subject matter of the post, Blalock has been in a decline in the last few years, offensively and defensively, so it's not as big a setback as it seems to me.

    Anyone remember when he first came up? The scouting report was a contact hitter who spread the ball around to all fields. What happened to that guy? Now, he tries to crush every ball straight down the right field line it seems.
    I assume that's a product of playing in The Ballpark (or whatever they call it now).

      Alot of guys have hammered the ball for half a season, let me know when they manage to do it for 40 half a seasons.

        I guess. With the shortish porch in right, and the jet stream always blowing out that way, it does make for a tempting target.
