thanks for the screen shot; however, I recall that WSB for the Dreamcast had the same type of screen shots and it was only for CPU vs CPU. (and you could only pitch from that angle but not bat) I have not played the last version, so they could have may us, the users, now bat from the t.v. angle. However, I have no idea.

Re: Question about camera angles in All Star Baseball
hmmm... good point. I guess that its a possibility that the screenshot was from a cpu vs cpu game, but I think i remember hearing somewhere that you could bat from that prospective, but after the ball is hit, the camera switches to a normal fielding perspective. I'll try and find a link if I can.Comment

Re: Question about camera angles in All Star Baseball
lol, I already told you.
World Series Baseball AND High Heat will have the TV Camera angle playable for the user."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Question about camera angles in All Star Baseball
You ppl need to read this website a bit morefrom this very website (OS)
Operation Sports: Is the behind the pitcher cam actually
playable this year?
David Perkinson: Yes it is, for pitching. The pitcher cam was something that a lot of users were clamoring for, and they've now got it. It's a really good gameplay experience and definitely something that adds value to the game.

Re: Question about camera angles in All Star Baseball
He said for pitching, but he did not specifically mention batting. Someone try to find if the users will be allow to bat from the t.v. angle.Comment
