Nick Markakis pleading his case for a Gold Glove...
Of course since this wasn't a catch made by Derek Jeter, it's getting no play on ESPN, but this is easily the best catch that I've ever seen.

It was on ESPN this morning. They showed it during the highlights for the O's game and then again on top plays.
Also I know your an O's fan but that catch is no where near greatest catch of all time, hell Sizemore's catch the other day was better.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

eh, i don't think the OP made the claim "best of all time" but rather the "best [he's]<he has=""> ever seen". but regardless, great catch.</he>Comment

IMO, there was nothing too spectacular about that catch, except the fact that he had no regard for his own health in running into and flipping over the wall. It didn't necessarily take any timing leap, or any leap whatsoever.
I don't want to take anything away from him, just that I've seen better catches even this week.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
