You forgot one of the best defensive 1B and he has an OBP of .400. But, too bad he's the slowest man in baseball.

Re: Who is your favorite non-star player?
Hey now, that is why this guy aint a star, If he was fast then he would be a top 5 round pick. But I will take .300+ 20HR 90RBI anyday day as a later round pick. He always has aspot on Mookie's Team.Hometown Teams I LOVE H-TOWN
Houston Texans
Houston Astros
Houston Rockets
Houston Cougars
Houston DynamoComment

Mark McLemore, Cliff Floyd (somewhat of a star, though), Eric Chavez (becoming a star), Ray Durham, and Daryle Ward are some of my favorite non-stars, off the top of my head.Comment

"Sugar" Ray Durham was my favorite non-big star player, until he was traded to the west coast. Now I don't know how I'll follow him.
I'd say Willie Harris is my favorite young player...kinda struggled late last season though.Comment

Re: Who is your favorite non-star player?
Jason Varitek.
Calls a great game, is decent offensively, and is the heart and soul of the Red Sox pitching staff. Better catcher overall than Posada IMHO.Comment

I am a Philies fan and I like Pat Burrel. I do not think he a "super star" yet, but he will be (less k's please)
But as of right now, he is my favorite non super star.
That and Randy Wolf. Good season last year, but horrible run support.Comment
