    Cursor batting

Sorry to belabor the point, but I guess I just don't fully understand the concept of cursor batting. Do you have to keep the cursor on the baseball and then time your swing? I really am intrigued by World Series Baseball, but I wanted to make sure from you guys that cursor batting wasn't a total pain in the a$$.

Does WSB have the option to turn off the cursor? Just wondering since this is a selling point for me...

    Thanks for your patience.

        I did read it.

By "aim" the cursor I wasn't sure if it meant at the ball itself, or the direction you wanted to hit the ball. I've played games where you had to aim where you wanted to hit it. I just wanted clarification.

In my opinion, cursor batting can be a pain if not done well, but WSB's batting system is done extremely well. I love HH without the cursor but I would never dream of turning the cursor off in WSB...its a lot of fun to hit in that game. I just hope they made it a little more difficult this year.

Yes u have to move the cursor where u think the ball will be pitched. Also WSB has an option to turn off the cursor this year

It means aiming at the ball. On ASB you can choose the location before the pitch, but you have to aim the cursor at the ball one he throws it. Same with the ladder on WSB.

Since he mentioned cursor batting, I'll pose this question:

How come the cursors in these games are so big?? I saw the vids for MLB 2004, and the cursor took up more than half the strike zone. Personally, I think cursors should be smaller, seeing that the surface area of a bat isnt but a few inches, similar to WSB's cursor, but they should move faster or slower depending on the bat speed of the hitter.

I think it shrinks depending o the level of play (rookie, allstar, etc.)
I hope it does. I pointed tha out to when I first saw that MLB cursor.
