Just called up 3DO.

They told me PS2 release date is 2/20 and this is a firm date from what I was told. Roster update is as of Jan 14th for the PS2. I also asked about the Xbox version. They told me there isn't a release date confirmed as of yet. Game goes through a test phase to ensure quality. The PS2 I was told was looking good, but Xbox still remains to be seen. Looks like they haven't yet given the okay on the game. (Xbox) This is why it was pushed back.

One advantage with a later release date I was told would be that the rosters would be more up to date. Take it for what it is, the PS2 version is coming out on 2/20. I might order it directly from 3DO, but shipping will be $20 US to Canada. Ouch!

I think i can speak for all the PS2 HH fans and say "Thank you for getting it straight from the horses mouth"

Jan 14 is kinda early for roster accuracy though, but all that means is alot of tweaking the rosters before we start our seasons.

PS - $20 is alot for shipping, even though you live in Canada. Isnt there a online store in Canada that you can get it from.

One good Q to ask im and xbox owner and im a little angry because why are all these websites giving relase dates like Ebgames.com and Gamestop.com if 3DO does not have a set release date....go figure

Graphik remember if you decide to pick up the PS2 version and want the game shipped on the 20th, I would recommend ordering it from 3DO directly. I believe stores like EB and GameStop get a game a week later on average.

Oooo, so I should order from them.
Naw, I'm apatient guy. I shall have an XBOX and Live at the end of this week. With that combined with my PS2 and both of them on the internet, I shall be in gamer heaven.

Yeah I'll probably end up waiting an extra week and just picking it up at my local EB here in T.O. Not worth an extra $20 US for shipping IMO.
