I would feel cheated if I didn't buy WSB, HH, and MVP and at least try them to find out which one I like the best.
ASB was on the agenda but I am scared the gameplay remains the same. If it is the #1 selling baseball game, why would they change it beside beefing it up a little more.
The more I see and hear of MVP, the more it intrigues me. The dart from 325 feet out to homeplate in those videos has me a little worried and it could still have some Triple Play leftovers.
HH is gonna be HH, great gameplay, horrible graphics, great fielding control, realistic stats, fast games, and always fun IMO. One thing HH actually does well is make tough pitchers hard to hit.
WSB was good last year, but with another year could have been the best console baseball game ever, and now that year has gone by so I expect nothing short of greatness from it this year. I pray the AI can provide a challenge!
That being said, I will get:
HH2004 PS2-b/c it is solid and comes out first
WSB2k3 Xbox-b/c if you've seen the pics and videos, I don't know how you could not give it a run
MVP Xbox-I hope for once EA has got baseball right. Their game seems to be totally rebuilt and very innovative and the batter/pitcher interface is too much to pass up
ASB Xbox I have gotten burned buying this the last two year, its a double to the gap or a HR and the vacuum deal is very bothersome, so I will wait for the reviews and decide
