        RIP Rod..

        I know a guy who works out west and does some photography for MLB teams. Long story, short.....he emailed me to say that someone who used to play for the Giants and who now works for the club mentioned that Rod's life was spiraling recently and that he had started to use drugs again.

          Yeah I heard the same story. That stuff can get you, even if you do get clean. He was a great closer for us and was a blast to watch him come in the 9th. Untill Nenn came along he was our best closer, but Beck was still a beast!
