Some Thoughts on Inside Pitch
I find it pretty amazing that Microsoft hasn't said one word officially about their baseball game. Wouldn't it be wise to blanket the press with details/screenshots/previews BEFORE the competing baseball games hit the store shelves, if only to make fans consider not buying WSB, ASB, MVP/saving their money until Inside Pitch comes out later in the season? Realistically, no true fan can hold out that long :-) and will buy multiple MLB games, but what does Microsoft have to lose by doing so? Of course, there's always the possibility that they're so far behind in developing the game that there's nothing to show, in which case I doubt they'll be able to release the game at all during the MLB season.Tags: None -
Re: Some Thoughts on Inside Pitch
I think that since Inside Pitch isn't coming out until almost June, that MS should just hold off on it and release it next year. MS's second attempts at sports games have been big increases over their initial ones, and I'd rather just see Inside Pitch brought up to the level of other games. -

Here's my pipedream for Inside Pitch. They are sitting on it to do a big roll-out @ E3 because the game, besides being Live, kicks much butt.........

Re: Some Thoughts on Inside Pitch
One quick question?
How many people would actually buy a baseball game in June, July or August when a good, if not potentially great batch of games is coming in Feb/March? I mean, this isnt DC back in '01, where WSB was really the only game in town.Vi Veri Universum Vivus Vici

Yeah, by the time Inside Pitch comes around, all the other games will have been on the market for 2-3 months already. I say if they can't get it out by the All-Star break, they should just keep working on it until next year.Comment

I would. By June, even if this year's crop is as good as it looks, you'll be wanting something more. Something new. BAM!!! XBL!!! That's the ultimate Trump Card!Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!
