Just FYI more than anything...for you roster perfection nuts. I think if they get 150 innings and a sub 4 era, its was a great move for them. depends on his arm strength and location...last couple yrs. it was bad...lots of HRs given up.

Hm this smacks more of a Doc Gooden with Tampa kind of thing to me. Going back home (well in Cone's case home organization) and hoping to pitch well. I don't think he'll do too well to be honest. I kinda suspect that if he REALLY wants to play a whole year then he'll find himself in long relief situations by mid year.

I know cone is 40 but he also has been out year1/2 so his injures are heeled and i think he will surprise alot of us this year......Trust me....im glad he's back were he started

Yeah, Cone might be old and washed up, but i have always liked him. I wish him nothing but the best in his return to the mets.
