As a die hard Tigers fan living a couple of blocks from US Cellular, I could not be any more happy! Can't wait for the 5 game series at the end of the month. Hoping to get some good cheap seats from fans just wanting to cut losses. I just hope all the talent on the team gets sent to the NL.

I knew that Guillen and his style would only last a couple years or so. At least look at the big picture and be happy that you guys got a WS out of his tenure. I agree that Ozzie needs to go and they can also go and kick out Kenny Williams as well IMO.

WHY? He's made every adjustment in the book and nothing is working this year. I can see if he just stuck with the same line up and kept the same bullpen guys but Ozzie has tried everything. You cannot blame a manager for lack of talent. We are bad this year but Ozzie is not the blame. As much as I hate to say, I'd lay more the blame on GM Kenny Williams for this season. He addressed the bullpen problem from last year with blinders. Instead of just getting solid pitchers he went out on filled his bullpen with guys who can throw hard. And as it goes in baseball, guys who throw hard BUT can't pitch are doomed to failure. Scott Podsednik shouldn't been on the team. Darrin Erstad was a risk that blew up in our face. AND most important, he failed to give Buehrle his contract extension BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON.

I figured all the Ozzie/White Sox haters would be coming out on full blast this season since we suck. But outside of his mouth I see nothing wrong with Ozzie as a baseball manager.

And yet I'm still dreading the 5-game series in Chicago in a couple weeks. The White Sox have some voodoo over the Tigers.
