team salaries

does anybody know,on any of the upcoming games, if there will be different team salaries for different teams in franchise mode. For example will the Yankees be able to stack up with a load of all-stars because they have such a high salary cap while the expos struggle to fit a decent team together inside of their limited budget. It seems like it would be a fairly important part of the game but i have yet to see something like it utilized in a game yet.

I believe WSB on Xbox last year had budgets based on how the team plays.

I'm sure it's pretty much customizable in most games...can't prove that, though

High Heat will have three payroll options this year.

1) There is a market size option which would give teams like the Yankees more money to play with than teams like the twins.
2) There is an equal market option which levels the playing field.
3) Finally there is a custom option that allows you to adjust individual payrolls so you could make the twins the richest team in the league.

WSB had it last year...they had a feature where u could "turn off" the budget/real life version..so all teams could compete with the yanks

asbs salary system is horrible. alex rodriguez costs less points than ramon hernandez.

To add to that, a guy who was asking for like 18 points for 2 years is someone you need only for a year, but you had to pay the whole 18 points instead of offering 9 for a year. Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't it worth the same or was it like 10 points a year?

And also, say you're offering him 9 points for four years (say his someone you'll be keeping for a while). He'll go and demand for 18 points.

I had to admit the salaries were too low in ASB (i think after the first year i only had around 450 for the team, and i was playing as the Pads too, who aren't supposed to use up much salary).
