Why cant someone make a baseball game where we can design our own stadium? I mean take any golf game and there is a design utility included where you can cut and place objects.
This would be really easy to pull off.
First off you would get a template of diamond infield dirt shapes and you choose one. Then a template of grass types. Then with an overhead view you can use a mouse (for PC) or for console games you cliuld hold down a button and drag the outfield walls to the dimensions you desire. As your dragging the wall back you can see the distance numbers go up or down in the top left corner of your screen. When most of that is done the game ships with many templates of palm trees, regualar trees, stands, billboards, 20 different sized scoreboard templates, fence types and sizes, double deck areas vs non-double deck areas, etc, etc.
In this day and age with golf sims there most be a developer who has thoight of this idea. I know Earl Weaver had it.
