Biggio to retire at end of season

not really a shocker, but kudos to a class act... 20 years with the same team, played several positions (C, 2b, CF, and back to 2b), all while never ripping his teammates or managers in the media..

See ya in the HoF, Biggio!

    (plus, he's a local product)..

Gonna miss seeing him play. I loved his hussle and attitude. A Hall of Famer for sure.

I will definitely try to get tickets for the last Houston series here in St. Louis. He has killed the Cards for as long as I've followed baseball, but he's done it the right way and I want to see his last game here.

Great career. Only got to see him play live once. Always liked the kid (and always liked to refer to him as a "kid" as well).

            Class act.

I'm sure that last game will be full of emotions for a lot of people.

I've always been a huge fan of Biggio's. Very classy guy that plays the game the right way. Sure-fire Hall of Famer.

                Doesn't come as a shocker.

Really wish Bagwell could have stayed healthy enough, because I always pictured those two going out together.

Always enjoyed watching him play. I have tickets to that season-ending series with the Braves, so it'll be neat to be in attendance for his final game.

Class act and truly one of the greatest players to ever wear an Astros uniform. Did any of you guys see the highlights tonight? 6th inning, tie game, bases loaded and BAM! Biggio hits a Grand Slam.

You can't script it better then that after announcing this is your last season.
