Nothing against Roberto but i think that his arm may have been a tad overrated. It also depends on whether we are talking just arm strength or strength and accuracy. Clemente died in 1972 I am 37 and I barely remember him, the clips you see are obviously hightlights. Great discussion all the guys mentioned have damn good arms.
The funny thing is once a guy gets a reputation for a great arm, teams don't run on him very much so you don't get to see him show it off very often.Comment

Nothing against Roberto but i think that his arm may have been a tad overrated. It also depends on whether we are talking just arm strength or strength and accuracy. Ichiro has the best arm today, as in terms of most accurate and strongest. Vlad probably has the strongest arm but is not that accurate.
And if we were going by assists then Pat Burrell would have the best arm, I think he led the league either last year or the year before.Comment

Bo Jackson had the best combo of strength and accuracy from the OF ever.
Rob Dibble had the strongest arm I ever saw though. He friggin launched that ball over 400 FT and hit a fan that one time, too bad he was a basketcase because he had potential to be a saves king.
Today, either Mondesi or Vlad has the strongest arm.Comment
