I am definitely going with WSB now. It wouldn't even be question if the WSB had both options on t.v. angle ( batting and pitching).

Now that MVP has moved the release date up I am going to get MVP. I am a big fan of Sega Sports ,I love NBA2k3 but I know I will enjoy the pitching batting interface in MVP more then the cursor style of WSB. So this year barring any huge bugs rerpoted, EA and MVP get my business

          Hey Ryan,

You and I are on oppisite poles. I'm an EA guy. I was hoping that EA had the 2 or more different player fantasy draft into a career/franchise mode, but it doesn't. HH and ASB are the only games to have this feature. Sega has not had this feature for 5 years. ASB is not my cup of tea. My choices were WSB and MVP. It's exciting that the date for MVP moved up. I was almost stuck in what game to get. But I'm going with Sega hoping the little flaws can be fixed by using those sliders. MVP doesn't have the slider's and it "auto fields" for you. I don't care for the auto fielding. If there was an option to turn it on and off, then I would be on the fence once more.

              WSB and MVP look great.

I think this is the year for WSB. It just seems to do everything pretty well even though I'm not a huge cursor fan. Wish it had player scaling! MVP looks a little better in the animation and atmoshere department but I'm weary of the first year code, sketchy gameplay and lack of feature/sliders. Next year's MVP will be more of a solid contender.

I've had HH for the past few years but the lack of graphics have finally forced me to change baseball games this year.

ASB is not even a consideration. Did not like the game last year.

I agree with you on the auto fielding, but in my opinion the autofielding only makes the pitching more important. Pitch well so your fielders can make the play. I like that MVP is puting more importance on the Pitcher Batter Matchup.
To me it just goes back to the cursor style of hitting, I have played that style ever since World Series Baseball for Genesis and I want something new. MVP offers that.

Only the diving is automatic in MVP, not all of the fielding controls.

indeed, MVP sounds pretty good, the crack of the bat and the organ music add to the experience.
