No doubt, that drop in the bucket would have really hampered the Yanks this year.

There's a good chance Randy Johnson on the Yankees means no Roger Clemens, not only because of the money, but because the Yankees felt that Johnson would cause a big problem about Clemens "family plan" contract.

This entire deal of bringing Randy back to Arizona never made any sense anyways, I thought they were trying to get younger and avoid big contracts but I guess they pick and choose when they are being financially responsible and when they are wasting money. Wasnt it Arizona that was broke and couldnt spend when they shipped Richie Sexson out of town only to turn around and sign Troy Glaus to a rediculous contract?

I'm actually really disappointed. Unit's one of my favorite pitchers, and now I doubt he'll be able to get to 300.

I remember there was a thread on the trade, and I had high expectations for Randy.
