Twins to postpone weekend series?

Terrible thing that happened in Minnesota. My company's HQ is there, but it sounds like everyone is ok.

If they have to postpone the Twins' weekend series with the Indians, they should move the games to Cleveland to make up for the home games that the Tribe lost thanks to that early season blizzard (they were played in Milwaukee). It will be a HUGE disadvantage if the Tribe has to make up 3 games (on top of the one they have to make up with Seattle).

According to ESPN they have decided to play the series as scheduled.

Yep. The series is on as scheduled. I think they were just trying to keep as much traffic as possible from the city, since the Dome is close enough to that area.

Another thing I saw that the bridge collapse might affect is the building of the new Viking's stadium.
I think the MLB did the right thing by playing last night's game and canceling tonight. It was a very tough situation that I think was handled well by the Twins and MLB.

I agree. I think keeping 25-30,000 people away from the bridge area and off the roads was a great idea. I can't believe some people were complaining about it.
