    Pedro comeback begins

67 pitches over 5 1/3, albeit against the Gulf Coast League Mets squad in a scrimmage. 50 of those pitches were for strikes. He gave up 4 hits, 1 ER, and struck out 3 while walking none.

I really can't and shouldn't expect much but he's probably the most fun pitcher to watch for me in the bigs. He's just an artist but he clearly wasn't himself the last two years (and still managed to pitch extremely well).

I have him on the DL in fantasy...had him there all year...

I need him to be the Pedro of the late 90s.

The game is better with a healthy Pedro Martinez.

Have they said anything about what his velocity was like?

I heard he topped out at 88, which is fantastic for this point in his rehab. It's like his first ST start and I remember Ollie Perez only hitting 85 in ST. I'm not expecting much, but it was encouraging.
