in response to the Madden trade comment...are you telling me after last year that any team in the league wouldnt have given up a number one pick for marshall faulk? Curtis Martin showed this year that he's about run out of gas. Think about what you say before you say it.

you kind of missed the point of my, well, point. that's not EXACTLY the trade that happened; i was just trying to illustrate the idea and threw out a couple of names. i am a jet fan so martin came to mind. faulk is the best player at martin's position, so there you go.
my point is that in madden, the cpu doesn't really "think" when trading. it just assesses value. it knows faulk is valuable, but does not consider that in real life the jets would not trade for faulk because they already have martin at that position. what would they do with martin's bigass contract when they acquired faulk?
that was my point. not that faulk is better than martin, faulk is not worth a #1 pick, or anything like that.
oh, and in response to all the guys talking about millar, isn't he in the game but just under a fake alias? i think in hh 2003 that was the case, so i just renamed him. maybe i'm wrong though. he is not in the player's union like some of the other guys (reed, agbayani, etc.) so i think you might have to just rename him...
