Trading is a bitch too. You have to pick both teams before you can add players, not very easy to do. But you can trade with 4 players instead of the usual 3 in most games, I like that.

SF wouldn't take A Jones, C Jones, Castilla, and Smotlz for Bonds...

OH trust me sox, they will know by monday that there will be a national recall.

Thats all they really can do, to save face with all highheat fanatics.

Good enough for me. I'm anxiously awaiting the Xbox release, but i will gladly accept a delay if it means this bug has been fixed in it. So if they know about it, maybe it will happen. All hope is not lost yet.

I'm taking bets on the official response:

                    (1) There's no bug -- we cannot confirm its existence

                    -or-

                    (2) It was intentionally designed that way. Traditional baseball has become boring.

                    -or-

                    (3) We were too busy beta-testing our latest Army Men game to bother checking this game.

Anyhow, this is such a shame because the rest of the game -- tuning menu and tru-pitch -- was shaping up to be the best ever.

It doesn't show ALL their career stats, just back to '95, but those stats are correct as far as I can tell. That kinda sucks, I like things to be perfect, they sure aren't gonna be with this game.

This is horrible stuff boyz !!!!

I'm going back to Baseball stars, no glitches in that game and that was almost 20 years ago.

We must go on brothers despite this supposed nightmare.

I'm sure they know and are in anguish.

It's incredibly difficult to make significant improvements and additions to a game (as High Heat has done) in a year and find all the new bugs. It gets to the point where every time you fix a bug, you create two more. If you don't have a ton of kick-*** testers working lots of OT, you're going to ship with some nasty stuff (I remember in 2K2, the 2nd baseman couldn't catch a pickoff throw unless he was super-fast, for example). And when your livelihood depends on getting your game out first...well, you get the idea. It's not a case of laziness or carelessness (I don't think so, anyway), just one of those crappy things that happens once in a while.

I hope 3DO decides to release a fixed version. In the meantime, I'm going to play the Franchise mode.
