    Somiss,

You bug sounds different there wasn't two outs when you hit the ball right?

I spent some time at work today and couldn't recreate the "Bug" I aslo played 8 games yesterday and didn't see it.

Out of the people who say they saw the bug SOmiss is the only one I have respect for, but I think he had a different problem

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I tried to replicate the problem today also Cook, and couldn't make the bug appear. Which leads me to believe there are a specific set of circumstances that cause it.

We should have a sticky for the bug. Just for posts that give details of when the bug happened. Maybe then the circumstances of the bug can be found.

With the amount of guys talking about it that don't even have the game, people start to think it has happened a bunch of times and one guy seems to be the only one getting this and other bugs, makes me think he is just not paying attention to what is going on when he plays.

It looks like when you edit a REAL player who has a PICTURE(even if you just edit their number or skin tone), they will NOT have a picture anymore and be a "faceless" player. This sucks. Can anyone tell me how I can change my player back to the default settings without ruining all the changes I have made to my up to date roster? Or am I sh*t out of luck?

I haven't seen a fix for this yet. I think you maybe out of luck unfortunately.

The blank face thing was present in last years game. It annoyed the living hell out of me.

I've played 7 games with HH2K4 and have not encountered the "bug." Everytime there's a pop up, if the runners are between 3rd and home plate, the runners hold their position, until the ball is caught and/or dropped. I have a launch PS2 and have had no prob's with it, ever. I play on All-Star difficulty, but I have the baserunning set to "automatic," (default is set to manual). Maybe there is a problem with the baserunning when it is set to manual. I'm puzzled to read that some people have seen this bug, as I have had no evidence of it at all.

i have a theory that "bugs" (really due to ps2 hardware, not the game) will only occur on older model ps2s. in other words, people with the newest ps2 model won't have to worry.

Yes, it is very common for hardware to change logic in a program.

I think we can rule your theory out very quickly.

                              <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">i wouldn't rule it out so quickly.

it's not that the hardware changes logic in the program. it's that the disc is not running properly because of technical problems. ie it is not spinning fast enough, not spinning "cleanly," etc. this can cause little skips in the memory and stuff like that.

i don't know, i'm far from a hardware guy, but i know ps2's hardware is unreliable and the older model ps2s are even more unreliable than the new ones. i have had problems like this with gta3 and other games with my old ps2; with my new one, everything runs perfectly.

just trying to help, i wouldn't rule this out. do you guys who are experiencing the "bug" have older ps2s?

btw, i am not trying to make excuses or anything. i do not even own hh 2004. i am just trying to help out.
