EGM Suxorz and r PS2 fanoyz... Zelda iz a 10 yo. Famitsu said so.
Now on a serious note I do not put alot of credit into the 1 man EGM reviews (which can make gamepro reviews read like Moby Dick) as sometimes you question how much time thye spent. At least when they roundtable you get a few different opinions on the game and some actual content.
Hopefully none of the WSB fans have hung themselves due to getting a point lower score.Comment

Re: EGM Scores
Didn't it get ~8 last year. I know it was GotM, but it didn't get really high scores. The new EGM reviewers kinda suck anyway.Comment

Re: EGM Scores
I wouldn't put too much stock in these scores considering there's no way the reviews were based on 100% completed versions of the games. Monthly publications' content can be months old before they even hit the newsstands. At best, EGM's baseball game reviews were written 5 weeks ago; 4 if they really, really tempted fate with their printer deadlines/circulation dept. This is why game reviews on the net are so valuable (even, dare I say, the painful-to-read, grammatically-challenged IGN ones): you don't need a whole lot of lead time to get a review published. Even if the reviews are based on 90%-finished copies (responsible publications should say so), you shouldn't get too bent out of shape over them. Lots can happen during the final phases in the game's development.Comment

Re: EGM Scores
They only review games that the publishers says are reviewable. So I am sure they were 100% complete. And they go to press about a week to a week and a half before they ship, they have said that many times on their own board.Comment
